Cheng An Wei shipyard,CIC, is a medium-sized ship repairing and
building enterprise, which has 30 years history and belong to China
Shipping industry Co., Ltd. It is located at the south of Guangzhou
avenue in Haizhu district, the west of Luoxi bridge along the bank
of pearl river. There are many buses in the city that arrive the
shipyard directly, the transportation is convenient both in water
and on land. Its production surroundings are excellent.
The yard has 800 staffs, including more than 150 professionals,
and occupies 90,000 square meters. Also it has a 324 meters long
wharf for ship-repairing, a steel floating dock named Yuexiushan,
which is 122 meters long, 19 meters inner wide and 3,500t lifting
power, and has a 250t railway dry dock. Each production shop of
the yard is well equipped with standards and all kinds of production
facilities, and they have exquisite technique&strong technology.
The yard thinks much of using advanced, scientific management process,
and it continues to deeply strengthen inner management. The yard
acquired the certification of ISO9002 quality system in 1997.
The yard can undertake the repairing and reequipping of all kinds
of ships, whose weight is below 7,000t, and the repairing out yard
or rushing to repair. Besides the repairing of tanker, cargo ship,
passenger ship and container ship, it also does well in the repairing
and reequipping of LPG ship, asphalt ship, chemical ship, roll of
ship, dredger and marine ship using in many purposes.
The main business of the yard is ship-repairing, and it actively
develops the business of ship-building, fire-fighting works, mechanical
treatment, metal construction building, automatic works and ship
uncoupling, and it is good at them. The yard also develops the businesses
of thickness detecting, NDT, gas explosion detecting, overhauling
of all kinds of marine instrument and measuring tools, waste water
detecting, marine goods&material providing and bonded warehouse
for imports etc.
The yard is always insisting on the principle of Good quality, Short
repairing time, Good service and customer first, and the pursuance
of satisfaction in CAW shipyard. And the yard is eager to cooperate
