CIC Boluomiao Shipyard, a subsidiary of China Shipping Industry Co., Ltd., is an integrated shiprepair base in South China. It applies itself to repairs and conversions of both domestic and overseas vessels all through, and joint with international practices. Nowadays, Boluomiao Shipyard has become one of the Top Ten Shiprepair Enterprises of China. Boluomiao Shipyard is set up in 1968, located on Huangpu, Guangzhou, neighbor to Port Huangpu, the largest port in South China. With the convenient communication, vessels up to 80,000DWT can sail directly to the berth of the Shipyard. And vessels up to 50,000DWT can dock in the Shipyard with an average dock-repair time of 102 hours/vessel.

The Shipyard possessed about RMB350 million fixed assets, including a steel floating dock with lifting capacity of 16,000T and complete set of other relevant facilities. In 1997, the Shipyard achieved the Quality System Certificate to ISO9002 standard. And in 2001 the Shipyard also achieved the Quality System Certificate to ISO9001 standard in virtue of its strength in shiprepair. The shiprepair quality of Boluomiao Shipyard has been approbated by many famous classes such as CCS, LR, ABS, BV, DNV, GL, NK, etc. Today the clients of Buoluomiao Shipyard are not only in mainland of China, but also all over the world, especially in Europe, America, Hong Kong, Taiwan Area, and Southeast Asia.

The Shipyard also holds some other advanced techniques, such as special jointing, special spray coating, low-temperature iron-plating, engineering plastic and metal lock and so on. It can undertake various machinery parts reconditioning technology, hot-spraying, steel construction thickness measurement, NDT(non-destroyed defects test), color-metal moulding, machinery fabrication, meter apparatus examination and reconditioning, metal phase diagnosis, chemical analysis, sewage water treatment, and so on.
