The conversion project of ANJIJING (106×16×9,7500T),
which is owned by COSCO ASPHALT, was performed by ChengAnWei
Shipyard in April 2001. Based on the structure of the early
asphalt carrier, the conversion project includes redesign of
bottle structure and improvement of pipe-system, boilers and
valves. ANJIJIANG after conversion not only exceeds in the performance
among the carriers of the same type, but also possesses the
advantages of heat preservation, fast load and unload, easy
heating, high safety and flexible load during transportation.
This successful conversion project fully shows
the advanced technology and technique in convershion possessed
by ChengAnWei Shipyard.
